Responsibilities:

To organize and delegate all activities performed in the warehouse.
To provide the setup layout and management of space.
To plan and control all activities in the warehouse.
To set targets concerning the policy of each company.
To maintain housekeeping in the warehouse.
To manage reports related to warehouse including the inventory of stocks, dead-stock, consumption, and manpower.
To maintain and manage incoming/outgoing movement of stock records.
To verify inwards for quality/damages and to ensure action on inventory.
To ensure timely dispatches along with proper documentation and delivery proof.
To check product quality and to give feedback to the management.
To order stocks, maintain DSR (daily stock report) and report to the head office.
To take products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks.
To compare the packing list with company purchase orders and to ensure that in each delivery the product matches the packing list.
To assemble and display the manufactures marketing pieces and to prepare a list with the help of our marketing department.
To update product inventory as soon as they receive the products regularly
To package products for return to vendors and to complete the RMA paperwork before they pick the shipment up.
MIS reporting through dispatch register or Expense Reports, etc.

Skills and Qualification:

There is a requirement of certain skills and necessary qualifications to maintain the standard of the job. They are:

Skills:

Excellent knowledge of the industry's leading software.
Should be able to research and invest in automation.
Should have the deep knowledge of the importance of warehouse layout

Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

Qualifications:

There is no need for a specific degree to pursue a career in this field.

Maximum- Graduation in any discipline (business management, supply chain management, logistics preferred)

Experience:

There is no prior experience required for the job. However, some industries are asking for 1-2 years of experience in warehouse management and software.

Salary:

The salary depends upon the industry type and experience. In entry-level, you can expect the salary range starts from INR 1.5-2.5 Lac per annum that excludes allowances and other benefits. As you gain a handful of experience, you will get a hike in salary depending on the company offering jobs.
